Yevhen Kryvets is a seasoned tennis coach with a specialist degree in physical education and sport from the State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport in Kharkov. Before moving fully into coaching, he competed at a high level himself, reaching No. 6 in the USSR national ranking in 1989 and winning the Ukrainian Championship six times in singles and doubles.

Since 1992, Yevhen has worked with a wide range of players, from young beginners and adult amateurs to competitive juniors and professional athletes. His coaching career has taken him through Ukraine, Poland, and China, where he has helped players achieve strong results in regional, city, national, and university competitions. Several of his former students continued their development in the United States and became leading players at their universities.

Yevhen’s experience includes coaching at state sports school level, leading a university tennis program, working with WTA-level players, and serving as chief coach at ALPHARMSPORT in Jiaxing, China. In China, his players collected 11 titles, 8 runner-up finishes, and 4 third-place results across different categories, including Zhang Rui, who reached No. 4 in the Chinese ranking.

His approach is practical, focused, and adapted to the player in front of him. Yevhen pays close attention to technique, movement, physical readiness, confidence, and match preparation, building sessions around each player’s age, level, body type, and goals.

He is a licensed Polish Tennis Association trainer with an ITF background and has experience in private lessons, group training, 10S programs, tournament organization, player development, and tennis events. Reliable, punctual, and approachable, Yevhen brings many years of serious tennis experience to every lesson.
